Fabric / Leatherette cleaning - renewal

Hey Old Radio Guys,

I am fixing up a Webcor B-124 for a friend. This phono has a fabric / leatherette covering over the cabinet. What works best to clean / restore this material? Never restored this stuff before.

If there is serious deterioration.

Otherwise, any multi-purpose spray cleaner such as you might use in your kitchen, together with soft, lint-free cloth. After which you have multiple options from an automotive-type clear *acrylic* polish to Armor-All. DO NOT USE ANY WAX-BASED PRODUCT!
