Hi everyone! I'm new to the newsgroup, so hello to all and I'm looking
forward to helping others out any way I can. I'm also looking for help like
many other people here. I've got a Zenith G730 (chassic C705) that i'm
working on right now and I'm in the process of recapping the radio. Most of
the ceramic capactiors under the chassis have a small bulge on the top of
the disc. I need to know if this is normal, and if they need to be
replaced. Most I've tested are within tolerance range. Right now, I'm only
replacing the paper/wax caps and electrolytics. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks again,

Ceramic caps of that viltage were coated by dipping in the material
with the leads UP, so there is generally a bit of a drip at the top,
and sometimes the ceramic disc is not coated along the edge between
the leads. Both conditions are 'normal'.
