Big weekend for tubes (new needed list)

Between receiving some packages from several generous R.A.R.+P. readers (thank you!), a radio club swap meet, and an amazing Craigslist find, I filled in over 3/4 of my Drug Store tube tester slots.

The number of tubes I now need to complete the list is under 120. Please check the list if you'd like to reduce your inventory of TV tubes. I'd welcome any quantity, but of course more per box means lower shipping cost per tube.

Ended up with a bunch of duplicates as a result of the local finds so if you need anything, ask. I'll be more than eager to give away/trade duplicates for just postage.

Found a few typos in my list -- I will re-publish the list this evening.

Updated list, with a few corrections & tube functions.

I see now that there are a few that have some "alternate uses" that cross them over to audiophool or collector interests. Found this when googling each part number for the datasheet.

Again, looking for boxed tubes in oem packaging. Thanks for looking at the list.

Hi Terry,

I just found a 66 page pocketbook that I could possibly scan for you if
you don't already have it. Titled Do-It-Yourself TV Trouble-Shooters
Guide and it was put out by U-Test-M Manufacturing, dated 1963. I don't
want to sell it though as it is part of my collection of vintage radio gear.

Hi John, thanks for the kind offer - I have a 1959 edition. Also several tube tester pamphlets from the same era.... and a 4 different very interesting troubleshooting "wheels", gimmicky little devices you turn or slide until your TV symptom appears in the window, then it tells you what tubes to test. Kind of cool but also kind of kitschy..... Recently added a vintage, unused TV-RADIO service order book, complete with carbon paper.... Fun stuff to look at.

Remind me to scan a window card I have (hiding since we moved in May
though) that outlines what radio/TV repair people should charge on
service calls put out by a local association. Early 50s I figure
($5/hour)...
